A 5 Class Series Exclusively for ASNOA Members - November 9th - November 13th - Daily from 12:00pm ET - 2:00pm ET
Level 2 Commercial Lines Class - Beyond The Basics
Take Your Commercial Knowledge to the Next Level
Commercial insurance becomes more demanding when routine coverage questions lead into contractual requirements, specialized markets, unfamiliar policy triggers, and complex loss scenarios.
Over 10 focused hours, this Level 2 cohort will strengthen your ability to navigate five important areas: Certificates of Insurance best practices, Surety, Excess and Surplus Lines and Specialty Markets, Claims-Made Policies and EPLI, and Business Income coverage.
We’ll examine the details that frequently create confusion and E&O exposure—including what a Certificate of Insurance can and cannot accomplish, how surety differs from insurance, when a risk may require a specialty-market solution, and how claims-made coverage triggers, retroactive dates, and reporting requirements work.
You’ll also apply Business Income concepts to realistic loss scenarios and explore how coverage limits, the period of restoration, and Extra Expense can affect an insured’s ability to recover after a disruption.
This isn’t simply more theory. It’s practical commercial-lines training designed to sharpen your judgment, strengthen your client conversations, and help you approach more complex coverage situations with confidence.
